He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry Yarber and Inis Roberts Yarber; his daughter Stacy Yarber; his grandson Thomas T. J'Yarber; his stepson Tommy Tolley; his nephew Kevin Yarber; and his sister-in-law Lynda Yarber.

He is survived by : his siblings, Linda Ayers (James) of Unicoi, Ronnie Yarber and George Yarber (Jackie); and his nieces and nephews, Cindy Bryant (Tom), Jamie Black (Justin), Kelly Yarber, Thomas Bryant (Ashley) and Jonah Black.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the West Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home (800 E Watauga Ave, Johnson City, TN 37601). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Buffalo Valley Freewill Baptist Church (110 Honeycutt Rd, Unicoi, TN 37692). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 at the Buchanan Cemetery.
