With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Moffitt of Unicoi, Tennessee, who passed away on November 11, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Sneyd and Roberta Cooper Sneyd. She is survived by: her grandson Braxton Scott Blevins; her husband James Alvin Moffitt; her daughter Amy Louise Moffitt (Steven) of Unicoi; her siblings, Dora Elizabeth Moffitt (Brad) of Unicoi and Murray Mack Sneyd of Unicoi; and her close friends, Jan White, Lurley Bryant and Kathy Bennett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
