He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Vance and Evelyn Garrett Vance; his sons, Chad Vance and Luc Vance; and his siblings, Gary Vance, Roy Vance, Doris Jones and Wanda Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda McInturff Vance; his grandchildren, Haylee Vance, Hayden Vance, Addison Vance, Piper Vance and Ben Williams; his sisters, Nancy Myers of Winston Salem, NC and Sherry Pilkington; and his siblings-in-law, Rick McInturff, C. J. Campbell, Lauri Vance, Sharon Gardener, Connie Booth and Teresa Thomas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
