The memory of Janice Barnett of Unicoi, Tennessee, who passed away on October 25, 2024 at the age of 74, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ovlen Willis and Helen Pansy Higgins Willis; and her brothers-in-law, Bryan Roderick, David McClanahan and Randy Arrowood.
She is survived by: her husband Leonard Barnett; her siblings, Michael Willis (Starlene DeBord) of Tallahassee, Florida, Sue Matousek, Kathy Arrowood Oates (Craig Oates) of Kingsport and Karen McClanahan (Mike Ketron) of Abingdon, Virginia; her sister-in-law Marylyn Bailey (Jesse); her nephews, Randy Keith Arrowood, Steven Arrowood and Willis Matousek; and her niece Katie McClanahan.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Robert Ledford Funeral Home and Chapel (720 Ohio Ave, Erwin, TN 37650).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Janice to your charity of choice to help with flood recovery efforts in Unicoi County.
