It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie Denney (Unicoi, Tennessee), born in Russell, Kentucky, who passed away on February 29, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Denney and Josie Gadberry Denney Southerland; the mother of his children Jeanne Owens Denney; and his stepson Justin Vance. He is survived by: his wife Marie Arlene Powers Denney; his children, Michael Denney of Elizabethton, Matthew Denney (Brenda) of Elizabethton and Michele Rollins (Gary); his stepchildren, Jason Vance (Jennifer) and Jennifer Lowe (Greg); and his siblings, Arnold Denney (Kay), Bill Denney (Sue), Phillip Denney (Patty), Evelyn Dalton (Keith), Janice Dalton (Bob), Karen Mofield and Katherine Corder (Eddie). He is also survived by four grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, three great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
