He was predeceased by: his parents, John Earl South and Dicie Roark South. He is survived by: his son Stephen Eric South (Lori) of Green Mountain, NC; his grandson Cody Lee South (Vanessa); his great grandchild Adrian South; and his siblings, Robert W. "Bob" South (Bonnie), Charles Eugene South (Lilli) and Lorraine Whitson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
