He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Jones and Mabel McInturff Jones Renfro; his siblings, Shelby Leedy (Sam Leedy) and Johnny Jones; and his stepfather Richard Renfro.
He is survived by: his wife Isabella Crowder Jones; his son Scott Jones (Wendy Fox); and his sister-in-law Kathy Jones. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
