She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Martin Hyder and Goldia Gouge Hyder; her husband Eugene C. Bell; her siblings, Jack Hyder, J. H. Hyder, Neta Bennett, Gladys Roberts, Mae Berry, Jewel Odom, Mary Vance, Virgie Dutton and Madgie Gilbert; her daughter-in-law Mary Ann Bell; and her stepgrandson Travis Shumate.
She is survived by: her sons, Stevie Martin Bell of King George, VA, James Roger "Jimmy" Bell of Johnson City and David Edward Bell (Kelly) of Unicoi; her grandchildren, Anthony Bell (Katie), Cody Bell (Samantha), Austin Bell, Dakoda Bell, Brody Bell, Karson Bell, Kameron Bell and Amanda Murray; her stepgrandchildren, Brandon Shumate (April) and Ryan Shumate (Emily); her great grandchildren, Ryan Alexander Bell, Gavin Michael Bell, Lucas James Bell, Alyssa Katherine Bell and Greyson Henry Bell; her stepgreat-granddaughter Bella Shumate; her sister Armeta Ringman (Michael Wolf); and her sister-in-law Helen Hyder. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
