He was predeceased by: his parents, Seth Briggs and Nola Rice Briggs; and his sisters, Lucille Briggs and Kathleen Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Harris Briggs; his sister Ernestine Harris; his half-sister Dot Minon (Tony); and his sister-in-law Imogene Griffin (Bud). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
