He was predeceased by: his parents, William McKinley Tipton and Myrtle Moore Tipton; and his son Johnny Tipton. He is survived by: his significant other Florean Honeycutt Tipton; his daughter Melanie Stephens (Stewart Stephens); his grandchildren, Kaley Garrett (Jeff Garrett), Lindsey Stephens, Emily Stephens and Jonathan Tipton; his great grandchild Ava Tipton; his pets, Molly and Lacey; and his close friends, Bob, Linda Campbell, Doug and Teresa Bowman. He is also survived by siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins.
