It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dixie Hoilman of Unicoi, Tennessee, born in Bakersville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wes Yelton and Pearl Forbes Yelton; her husband Fred Hoilman; and her son Michael D. Hoilman. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Hoilman (Diane) and Kathie Hoilman; her grandchildren, Brandon Lewis, Sarah Whicker, Madison Hoilman (Ryan Lingerfelt), Elizabeth Hoilman and Caitlin Hoilman; her great grandchildren, Colt Lewis, Ethan Lewis and Charlie Moore; and her sister Ann Melton of Aiken, S. C.. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
