He is survived by: his parent Edna Shelton Brummett; his spouse Sharon Brummett; his son Shane Hummer (Regina); his grandchildren, Zach Hummer, Emma Hummer and Joseph Silvers; and his siblings, Tracy Brummett (Tammy), Sharon Cochran (Robert) of Unicoi and Shelley Bailey (Frank) of Unicoi. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
