She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi McCurry and Mary Jane Buckner McCurry; her husband Stewart Garland; her daughter Carol P. Garland; and her grandson Brian Barron.
She is survived by: her children, Judith "Judy" Adams, Rudy S. Garland (Celesta), Dean G. Garland, Gene L. Garland (Annette), Marijane (late Red) and Doug A.; and her close friend Georgia. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; many dear friends.
