He was predeceased by: his parents, John Christopher Hopkins and Ruth Wilcox; his son Danny Ray Hopkins; his brothers, Marvin Hopkins and Paul Hopkins; and his granddaughter Jessica Hunter.
He is survived by: his wife June McCoy Hopkins; his daughters, Vicky Sue Hunter (Buster), Tammy Ledford (Mike) and Rebecca Worley (Mike); his grandchildren, Kenny Hunter, Daniel Skelton, Casey Skelton and Marissa Hopkins; his great grandchildren, Hunter Raper, Cameron Quinn, Levi Taylor, Everly Skelton and Halzee Hunter; and his stepsons, Gary Kuykendall, Steven Kuykendall (Traci) and Edward Kuykendall (Jean). He is also survived by four step-grandchildren, and one step-great-grandchild.
