He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Owens and Evie Owens; and his siblings, Norman Owens, Frank "Eddie" Owens and Margaret Sue Morgan.
He is survived by: his wife Rochelle Owens; his children, Timothy Owens (Teresa) of Seymour, Norman Owens (Stephanie) of Riceville, Tennessee and Roxanna Church of Tullahoma, Tennessee; and his sisters, Wanda Faye Bax of Los Angeles and G. Jane Owens of Knoxville, Tennessee. He is also survived by four grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews.
