He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Edward Vowell and Mildred Sharp Vowell. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hastings; his daughter Ryan Leah Vowell; his grandson Alexander Richard McClure; his siblings, David Vowell (Ann) and Debbie Bergan; his nieces, Cassandra Cremeans and Jennifer Moore; his nephew Jared Hastings; and his pets, Watson, Ryder, Brownie and Bela.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
