He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Anderson "Mug" Colyar and Willie Belle Colyar; his wife Marilyn Colyar; and his sister Bette Offringa. He is survived by: his sons, Allan Colyar (Jennifer), Jeffrey Colyar (Laura) and Dean Colyar (Alicia); his grandchildren, Nicolas Judkins (Emily), Annie Whitaker, Bobby Dowdell, Brock Colyar, Reagan Colyar, Grace Colyar and Allison Colyar; and his brother Allan Lane Colyar. He is also survived by three great-granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to The Lantern at Morning Pointe of Tullahoma.
