He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Douglas and Mary Scott Robertson; and his brother Phil Robertson. He is survived by: his wife Regina Butler Robertson; his sons, Christopher Scott Robertson (Risa) and David Matthew "Matt" Robertson; his stepchildren, Leah Fly (Kyle) and Andrew Scott; his grandchildren, Tyler, Alyce, Alexa, Aiden and Jackson; and his nieces, Shannon Mallich and Amanda Robertson.
