He was predeceased by: his father Lonnie George of Washington; his children, Robert Dwight "Bubba" Jones and Tammie Jones; and his siblings, Marshall, Howard, Bradford, Curtis Jones and Marie Leverett.
He is survived by: his daughter Karen Baxter (Paul); his stepson Justin Martinez (Kristin); his grandchildren, Elena, Ava Jean Martinez, Anaya Elliott, Andrew Jackson, Nathan Baxter, Charles Gwinn, Tori Crabtree, Langley Bogle and Jordan McClard; and his great grandchildren, Annalyse and Aven Jackson. He is also survived by several extended family members and a host of friends.
