She was predeceased by: her parents, John Frank Burnette and Mary Helen Burnette. She is survived by: her son David Jonathan Pearce; her sister Kathie Burnette White (Lavory White); her nephews, John Leslie Rollins and Phillip White; and her niece Virginia Dennis.
To honor her request, the family has decided not to have a funeral and asks that donations can be made in her memory to one of the following charities: The Parkinson's Foundation, The American Cancer Society, or The Tennessee Equality Project.
