She was predeceased by: her parents, William Smith and Ellen Thornberry Roberts; her husband Gaylor Hill; her daughter Gaylene Hill; and her siblings, Edgel Smith, Denver Smith and Mildred Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Jody Hill of Tullahoma, Sharon Brewer of Murfreesboro and Theresa Beeman (Bill) of LaVergne; and her siblings, Elna Carlson of Smyrna and Edward Smith of Texas. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
