She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Heim and Mary Batts of Virginia; her brothers, Edwin Heim Batts, Jr., William Carroll Batts and James Phillip Batts; and her daughter-in-law Kathleen Cleary Batts.
She is survived by: her son Michael Batts; her sisters, Dorothy Ann Batts and Francis Armstrong (Freddie); her grandsons, Jed, Matt and Dan; and her great grandchildren, Thomas Evan and Alexandra Marie.
