She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Bobby" Jernigan and Lillian Weddington Hendershot; and her siblings, Joy Florio and Mike Jernigan. She is survived by: her husband Bill Gonzales; her children, Monica Gonzales (Drew) and Alex Gonzales (Ana); her grandson Rhett Relford; her siblings, Jody Jernigan and Lori Jernigan; and her pet Mokely. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, lifelong friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kilgore Funeral Home (215 Mitchell Blvd, Tullahoma, TN 37388).

For those who wish, the family asks that donations in Marty's memory be made to the animal shelter of your choice.
