She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph H. Johnson and Hallie Johnson (Glore); and her husband Vernon Johnson. She is survived by: her daughter Malinda; her child-in-law Kerry Walker; her grandsons, Daniel and Brent; her grandchildren-in-law, Terri House, Brent and Sara Haywood; her children, Silas, Abigail, Elizabeth and Leanna; and her siblings, Mary Sanford (Bill), Sandra Perkins and Terry Johnson (Nancy). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
Memorial donations may be made in her honor to the C-3 ministries of the Milford Baptist Church or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
