He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Smith and Elizabeth Martin Smith; his siblings, Jerry Smith, Julia Fay and Laura Kay Smith; and his brother-in-law Joey Perkins.
He is survived by: his wife Karla Maddle Smith; his daughter Kaylee Elizabeth Smith; his sisters, Joy Perkins-Johnson (Bob) and Judy Robinson (Dwight); and his parents-in-law, Charles and Nellie Maddle. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Kaylee Smith Education Account at the Jack Daniel's Employee Credit Union in Lynchburg.
