He was predeceased by: his parents, Oran Richard and Anna DeFord; and his wife Wilma DeFord. He is survived by: his children, Barry DeFord (Kathie) of Estill Springs and Shelly Keeton of Tullahoma; his grandchildren, Cameron Sharpton (Lindsay) of Lynchburg and Leah Sharpton Turner of Tullahoma; and his great grandchildren, Landon Foutch, Lizzy, Luke Sharpton, Baylee Cyree and Beckham Turner.
