He was predeceased by: his parent Sidney; and his siblings, Max Carter, Rex Carter and Mary Ella Ghea. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Collins Carter; his children, Jason Carter (Meredith) and Stephanie Fulcher (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Garrett Fulcher, Brice Fulcher, Madison Cooper (Peyton), Cameron Carter (Alissa) and Sarah Carter; his great grandchildren, Grant and Harper Cooper; and his siblings, Eddie Carter (Brenda) and Nelda Underwood. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
