He was predeceased by: his parents, George Verburg and Christina Swaan Verburg. He is survived by: his wife Lavannah "Bonnie" Blosser Verburg of Tullahoma; his children, Angela Kroes (Jason) of Pella, IA, David Verburg (Vanessa) of Colorado Springs, CO and Christina Steen of Pella, IA; his grandchildren, Kayla Keen (Cody), Travis Bouwman (Sadie), Justen Sterk, Aundrea Dart (Austin), Alexandra Steen, Tobey Steen and Emmalee Steen; his great grandchildren, Jaeger, Adilyn, Jameson, Haizley and Aubrey; and his siblings, Connie Coffer (Keith) of DeMotte, IN, John Verburg (Bonnie) of Pella, IA and Ted Verburg (Margie) of Wheatfield, IN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
