He was predeceased by: his father Raymond E. Adams; and his brother Bobby Simmons. He is survived by: his mother Willie Overcast; his girlfriend Iris Baker; his children, Jake Adams, Jody Adams, Josh Adams and Rebecca Adams; his stepchildren, Madison Baker and Adam Morris; and his siblings, Debbie Higdon, Lee Adams (Melissa) and Jerry Overcast. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
