He was predeceased by: his parents, Nolan Boyd and Nellie Boyd (Storey); and his siblings, Nancy Duncan (Boyd) and Larry Boyd. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Boyd (Barr); his daughter Tracy Karner (Scott); and his granddaughters, Meg, Bess and Ellie Karner.
