He was predeceased by: his father Jeff Wimley; his wife Sherry Owens Wimley; his daughter Beverly Wimley; and his siblings, Kathy Sutton, Betty Shetters, James Wimley, Terry Wimley, Jessie Wimley and Ricky Wimley.
He is survived by: his sister Linda Painter (Michael) of Georgia; and his caregivers, Susie Wilcox, Tammy Wimley and James Wimley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
