He was predeceased by: his father Donald E. Ballwick, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Sharon Ballwick; his husband Gilbert Ballwick-Holt (Gil); his siblings, Sheryl Clonch, Gordon Moats Jr., Jeff Moats, Don Ballwick III and Jamie Shell-Williams; and his sister-in-law Becky Thompson (Daniel).
He loved all animals, especially dogs, In lieu of flowers, Donnie would like for donations to be made in his honor to any no-kill animal shelter to help as many dogs as possible.
