He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Philpott Hunt and Gaston Hunt; and his wife Bertha Bates Hunt. He is survived by: his sister Evelyn Van of Veer; and his children, David Hunt, Jr. of Tullahoma, Michael Hunt of Crothersville, Indiana, Deanna Hunt-Barrett of McMinnville, Madaline Hunt-Tibbetts of McMinnville and Daphne Hunt-Brown of Moundville, Alabama.. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A reception was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Tullahoma Funeral Home (401 Westside Dr, Tullahoma, TN 37388).
