He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Spencer "Fat" Colyar and Adell "Mutt" McClung Colyar; and his brother Timothy Joseph Colyar. He is survived by: his niece Nicole Colyar; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kolton Owsley, Nicholas Baskin and Kaleb Webb; his niece Megan (Michael Pohlson); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Dominick, Christian, Mylee and Sophie; and his close friend Betty Smith.
