He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan H. Bivins Sr. and Minnie Bivins (Gregory); his brother David Bivins; and his wife JoAnn. He is survived by: his sons, Danny Bivins III (Brenda) and Mike Bivins (Debby); his grandchildren, Jeremy Bivins (Aurore), Brittany Bivins, Kinsey Johnson (Bryan), Madison Newman (David) and Michael Bivins; and his great grandchildren, Everleigh Johnson, Wells Johnson and Ai'lee Bivins Sabate.
