It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Gilbert Burchfield of Tullahoma, Tennessee, born in Delano, Tennessee, who passed away on June 3, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Cecil Burchfield; and his sister Fay McSpadden. He is survived by: his wife Delia Chaudron Burchfield; his daughters, Patty Nance (Ken) and Elizabeth Stachowicz (Ed); his sisters, Eva Austin (Elbert) and Ann Long; his grandchildren, Shelly Bossom (Craig), Cherilyn Haines (Damion), Emma McCathran (William) and Rebekah Cothron; and his great grandchildren, Dylan, Damon, Wyatt, Jenson, Harrison and Gracie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to First Baptist Church in Tullahoma with an emphasis on either the Children's Ministry or the Missions Ministry.
