She is survived by: her husband Nathan Sam Dougherty, Jr.; her children, Helen Dougherty Sewell (Chris), James Dougherty (Jennifer), Kathryn Eliza Dougherty (Beth), Edward Carmack Elder and Trey, III (Christine); her grandchildren, Patrick Sewell of Toney, AL, Irene Sewell Thomas (Brian) of Hixon, TN, Steve Sewell of Murfreesboro, TN, James Dougherty of Dallas, TX, Hannah Waller, Hadley Kate Waller of Tullahoma, Will Elder of Tokyo, Claudia Hines of Knoxville, TN, Annabel Hines and Cole Hines of Brentwood, TN; and her children, Cadence, Clara Sewell of Toney, AL and Christopher Sewell of Murfreesboro.
The family has requested donations may be made to Faith Lutheran Church in Tullahoma.
