She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard L. Kelly and Patricia Kelly; her siblings, Susan Welch (Jim) and Timothy Kelly; and her granddaughter Georgia Overton.

She is survived by: her husband William S. Overton III (Bill); her daughter Patricia Barrentine (Carey); her stepchildren, William Overton, Lindsay Overton, Kendall Overton and Tracy Kerr (Gary); and her grandchildren, Wesley Barrentine (Kacie DeLong), Matthew Barrentine, Will Overton, Andrew Kerr and Julia Kerr.
