She was predeceased by: her father James Bates; and her brothers, J. Orville Bates and Melbourn Bates. She is survived by: her husband David Hunt Sr. of Tullahoma; her children, David Hunt Jr. (Teresa) of Tullahoma, Michael Hunt (Amy) of Crothersville, IN, Deanna Barrett (Drew) of McMinnville, Madaline Tibbetts (Sam) of McMinnville and Daphne Brown (John) of Moundville, AL; her grandchildren, Brittany, Heather, Jessica, Jonathan, Ethan, Cheyanne, Destiny, Patience, Chance, Kaylee, Stephanie, Jamie, Nicholas, Adrianna, McKenzie and Kyler; and her siblings, Sylvia "Susie" Prince (Buford) of Shelbyville and Willard "Willie" Bates (Charlotte) of Hamilton County, TN.. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
