He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Denny and Rhoda Hurst Denny; and his siblings, Ewell, Sevia, Theora, Wallace, Paul, Nelson, Violet, Cody and Estill.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Denise Denny Williams and Andrew Gregory Denny; and his grandchildren, Andrew David Williams, Amy Hope Williams, Virginia Kate Williams, Joshua Ethan Denny, Allison Fay Denny Welsch, Andrew Nathaniel Denny and Kristin Grace Denny of Durham, NC. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
