He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Parsons and Myrtle Parsons (Cassidy); his sons, William Duncan Parsons Jr. and Glen Parsons; and his grandsons, Danny Ray Sweat and J. P. Bramlett.
He is survived by: his children, Janet Bramlett of Union City, Shela Chaffin (Richard) of Shawnee, OK, Jennifer Galbraith (Ron) of Buffalo, NY, Roger Parsons (Lora) of Hornbeak, Joe David Parsons (Linda) of Troy and Doyle Lee Parsons (Jennifer) of Decatur, MI; and his brother Alfred Parsons of Rockford, IL. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
