It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Royce Taylor Nicks of Troy, Tennessee, born in Union City, Tennessee, who passed away on August 17, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Nicks and Verna Mae Abbott Nicks; and his sister Nancy Fitz. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Robinson Nicks; his children, Jenny Houston (Jim Coy) of Dyersburg, Missy Lynch of Medina and Brandon Nicks of Troy; his stepsons, Jason Arnold of Dyer and Robbie Graves (Kim) of Jackson; his grandchildren, Addison, Corbin Lynch, Abbott, Lynnlee, Cora Houston, Samuel, Rachel Graves and Lucas Arnold; and his siblings, James Nicks (Anita) of Troy and Rebecca Long of Union City.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Tennessee State Veterans' Home in Humboldt.
