He was predeceased by: his parents, James Taft and Kneely Burkeen (Sexton); his son Terry Lee Burkeen, Sr.; and his brother Carl Burkeen. He is survived by: his grandsons, Terry Lee "T. J." Burkeen, Jr. (Krystal) of Lafayette and Eric Burkeen of Troy; his daughter-in-law Anna Burkeen of Troy; his great grandchildren, Andrew Blake Burkeen of Troy, Brody Gage Burkeen of Troy, Lillian Grace Burkeen of Lafayette and Anabelle Marie Burkeen of Lafayette; and his siblings, Effie Hamm (Elmer) of Dyersburg, Walter Burkeen (Alice) of Union City and Tom Burkeen of Dyersburg.
