It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janie Hurley of Trezevant, Tennessee, who passed away on March 24, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Janie's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Janie has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Gowan and Hallie Jones Gowan; her husband Eddie Hurley; and her sisters, Vennie Sue Patton and Marian Harmon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kelly Moeckel (Danny) of Milan, Lacee Hodo (Duane) of Huntingdon, Amanda Pitcock of Trezevant, Christy Stewart of Milan and Sherrie Neal (Kenny) of Saulsbury, TN. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
