He was predeceased by: his father William Lyle Woodruff; his son Jeffery Woodruff; and his siblings, Lindy Woodruff, Walter Woodruff, Evelyn Walter and Wanda Boesch.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Woodruff of Trezevant; and his children, Gary Woodruff of Alabama, David Woodruff of Washington, Mona Mills of Utah, Amy Dinkleman of Utah and Deena Palazzo of Jackson. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
