Charline Horst Shackelford Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charline Horst Shackelford in Trezevant, Tennessee, who passed away on November 27, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her family Charline; her siblings, Arthur, John and Julia; her husband Allen; her sons, Hugh (Erin Hendrix) and Phillip of Shackelford's Florist; and her grandchildren, Parker (Scott), Max, Kate, Charlie and Henry.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to the Allen Shackelford American Institute for Floral Design (AIFD) Endowed Fund, which was established in 1979 in memory of Charline's husband Allen who was an energetic crusader for the American Floriculture industry and who was the first President of the AIFD Southern Chapter.
