He was predeceased by: his sisters, Blondell Kolwyck, Gracie Lorene Butts and Erma Jean Clark. He is survived by: his children, Tiffany Cooke of Ooltewah, TN, Betty Jo Richards of Romeoville, IL, Bonnie Sue Miller of Arbyrd, MO, Laura Oseth of Chicago, IL, William Dewayne Johns and Michael Raymond Johns. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
