It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Thomas Ward (Trenton, Tennessee), born in Gibson, Tennessee, who passed away on July 6, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Doctor Reverend J. C. Ward and Louise Porter. He is survived by: his close friend Fannie Harrison; his wife Jennie Mae Montague Ward of Humboldt; his children, Charlie Lee Ward (Tamera) of Woodbridge, Tony Avery (Von) of Jacksonville and Rebecca Newhouse of South Bend; his goddaughter Charlotte Simpson Fisher (Ralph) of Humboldt; and his stepchildren, Sherrona Taylor (Johnny), Alex and Ferdinand Ward. He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, 20 Great-grand Children, and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.
