She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry H. Hensley and Estelle Hensley (Price); her husband James Finis Scruggs; and her siblings, Wayne Hensley, Almeda Harris and Marie Patterson.
She is survived by: her daughter Sheila Cupples (Jimmy); her grandchildren, Brad Scruggs (Diane) and Alisha Jamieson; and her great grandchildren, Shanna Nelson, Hanna Griggs, Bradley Jamieson, Zach Scruggs and David Jamieson. She is also survived by 13 great-great-grandchildren.
