He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerl Lee and Christine Harrington (Gammons); his son James Monroe Harrington Jr.; and his siblings, Joe Harrington and Nancy Gibson.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Harrington (Worley); his children, Michael Harrington, Kevin Harrington, Rhonda Ramsey and Brian Marbry; and his siblings, Darrell Harrington and Rita Scott.
